With Design Social 2017, we seek to create a platform for dialogue about the role of design in community, activism, and social change. We believe that the conversation about ethics and intent in our work shouldn’t be limited to the classroom, or end as our careers take shape. We’re not here for only the sake of aesthetics, the whims of our clients, or the demands of the industry. We’re here with the genuine belief that the primary role of design is to respond to the needs of the people, solve problems, and challenge the status quo. We strive for social impact.
